Paula Leon-James I am delighted to have been appointed as a trustee at Reedham. I aim to use my experience and skills to help make a positive contribution to the local community, to give back and to help vulnerable or disadvantaged children come to the realisation that they can achieve more or become a leader in their own life. I also enjoy being part of a vibrant, creative and committed group of people who are all very passionate about the aims of the charity. For more than 30 years Paula has advised investors, asset managers, developers and occupiers with acquisitions and disposals of investments. She has worked with most asset classes from retail, office, residential, hotels and industrial sectors, acting for a number of major property companies and corporate occupiers on their portfolios. Paula is a member of the Black Solicitors Network City Group, as well as the Women Lawyers Division of the Law Society. She is also a member of Arete Network which actively promotes community service in disadvantaged areas, as well as the advancement of youth education and mentoring through the provision of training programmes. She was a volunteer at the Royal Courts of Justice Advice Bureau in London and she is a mentor to girls at a senior school in South London. Paula is married with three children and has lived in Kingswood for the past 25 years. She is passionate about outdoor pursuits such as running, hiking, walking with her two dogs and cycling.
