A huge thank you for all of the amazing gifts. We have been absolutely stunned at the generosity and thoughtfulness people have shown to the children this year and I can assure you that every single gift went to a very deserving child. Please pass on our gratitude to each and every one of the people who have taken time to generously donate or fundraise for these items. We are incredibly lucky. - School Support Worker

With your help, our Christmas 2020 appeal received over 600 presents and more than £4000 worth of food vouchers! Due to your incredible generosity, we have been able to bring some smiles to the children we support.

Thank you again for the kindness shown towards our Christmas appeal. It was incredibly important to us to try and make Christmas 2020, that little bit extra special – and together we did just that.

We’ve been overwhelmed by friends and individuals - our community really came together in a time of great need. Collectively we managed to:

  • Deliver 450 presents to children we support in 5 primary schools and to our partner charity Reaching Higher (working with us to support young people aged 12-18)

  • Give each of our assisted boarding students £20 voucher each

  • Deliver 9 large food parcels and 6 additional food vouchers, to our assisted boarding families.

  • Provide a further 65 families with food vouchers

  • Provide nearly £200 worth of food to Reaching Higher who created food parcels for young people.

Not only have we been able to bring some smiles for children at Christmas, we are also able to provide food vouchers in January and February, giving vulnerable families a better start to 2021! This would not have been possible without your continued support.

With a huge thanks and special mention to a few corporate and community champions:

Sidley Austin LLP who donated 145 presents and a staggering £3725 of food vouchers
Willmott Dixon who donated over 50 presents
Croydon Scouts groups who donated 41 gifts
Two very special local Secret Santas who donated £100s worth of gifts
All Saints Church, Sanderstead, for their on-going support and donations
To our Ambassador - Henry Weir, for all his relentless campaigning and help during the appeal
Centrale & Whitgift Shopping Centres for making us recipients to their Giving Tree appeal, providing hundred of presents for vulnerable children

"2020 has provided different challenges for all of us, but for many of those we support, these challenges have been significantly worse. We are immensely grateful to those that have supported our work to help vulnerable children and families. At Christmas we always appreciate the generosity of others, but this year Centrale and Whitgift, our supporters and local residents have come together at a time of great need in our community."  - Sarah Smart, CEO Reedham Children's Trust
