Fundraising Director

Claire Palmer has 15 years’ experience in the charity sector, predominantly within children’s and educational charities. She is dedicated to raising money to enable young people to access opportunity in spite of their circumstances. Claire works with utmost integrity, and her passion and concern for our young people enables her to effectively lead our fundraising strategy. Most recently she has implemented our successful Reedham Guardians initiative which was launched at the House of Lords, as well as our Children Champions programme.

Claire specialised in major gifts fundraising at Ambitious about Autism, before becoming Fundraising Manager at a charity for children with speech and hearing impairments. She went on to be Philanthropy Manager at the leading UK breast cancer charity - Breast Cancer Now, before joining Reedham in 2016 as its first Director of Fundraising.

What inspires Claire most about fundraising at Reedham, is seeing inspirational successful people, empower the next generation of young people to fulfill their potential despite adversity, as a result of their giving.

Claire’s support for young people extends outside work, where she helps to lead the youth work at her church in Bromley.
